Payment Policy for Skinlabb (Pty) Ltd in respect of 

1. Introduction

1.1. This Payment Policy governs how all services and products administered on (“the Website”) owned by Skinlabb (Pty) Ltd (“us” or “we” or “our’”) shall be paid for.

1.2. This Payment Policy also expressly regulates the conditions and circumstances in which goods will be accepted for return and refund.

1.3. It also explains the process the user (“you” or “your”) need to follow in order to properly report a defect and/or arrange for a return.

1.4. You are not entitled to any refund, repair or replacement save to the extent that it is expressly provided for under this Payment Policy.

1.5. This Payment Policy is to be construed as forming part of the Terms of Service (“TOS”) governing the use of the Website.

1.6. Should you object to any provisions in the Payment Policy, please do not hesitate to contact us to ask us any questions or, if you wish, please do not to proceed to process any transactions on the Website.

2. Payment Methods

2.1. Payment for our products and services may be processed via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diner’s Club and Maestro credit cards.

2.2. We also accept electronic bank transfers into our bank account, the details of which will be provided at check-out.

2.3. Our payment system allows for review, corrections and withdrawal from the transactions prior to placing a final order.

2.4. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us, containing your order number which you should use as a reference in all communication with us pertaining to the provisions contained in this Payment Policy.

2.5. Skinlabb may from time to time make physical or electronic gift vouchers available for use on the Website which may be used to purchase products on Skinlabb (or for payment of a portion of the purchase price thereof). Gift vouchers can only be redeemed while they are valid. The terms applicable to all gift vouchers are set out below:

2.5.1. Gift vouchers that are purchased by registered users are valid for 3 years from the date of being issued. Gift vouchers that Skinlabb gives away for free are valid for the period stated thereon. Any voucher that is not redeemed within that period will expire.

2.5.2. Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed to buy gift vouchers. They do not accrue interest and are not refundable for cash. If your gift voucher value is insufficient for the order you wish to place, you may make up the difference by paying via one of our other payment methods.

2.5.3. Skinlabb is not responsible for any harm due to the loss, unauthorised use or unauthorised distribution of a gift voucher, after it has delivered the voucher to you or the email address nominated by you.

3. Delivery Information

3.1. Subject to circumstantial factors such as availability of inventory with our suppliers and receipt of payment, reflective in our designated bank account, requests will be processed within three (3) to five (5) working days and handed over to a courier company for delivery.

3.2. Orders in excess of R800 will attract no charge for delivery, while orders below R800 will be charged a standard courier fee of R100.00, nationwide.

3.3. Whilst we do deliver to farms, military bases, major chain stores, power stations, game reserves, lodges, airports and harbours, we do not deliver to vacant land or plots or Post-Offices. We will be in contact with you to arrange an alternative address should you submit a Post-Office address for delivery.

3.4. We will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order and will reasonably endeavour to ensure that goods arrive at your chosen delivery address in the same good order.

3.5. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that you receive your order from us within 3-5 working days, delivery times may vary due to various reasons. On average customers can expect deliveries to metropolitan area addresses (Cape Town, Johannesburg, George, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Bloemfontein & Pretoria within 3-5 business days. Outlying areas expect delivery in 5-7 business days.

4. Returns Information

4.1. If after your order has been dispatched, you no longer require the product(s) you had ordered, you may return the order to our physical address within 5 days at your own expense. If the product is unopened and the original packaging is still intact, we will provide you with a Skinlabb store credit. We do not provide monetary refunds in these circumstances. Non-defective products that are returned will need to be in its original, intact and undamaged packaging without the seal broken.

4.2. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase after receiving the product, you may return it to Skinlabb within 10 (ten) days of delivery, without reason and without penalty, in order to obtain a full purchase price refund, in accordance with the returns procedure set out in further detail in this Payment Policy.

4.3. Subject to Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the provisions of this Payment Policy are subject to the following reasonable guidelines:

4.3.1. Products must have been purchased directly from Skinlabb. We do not accept returns of products purchased from other suppliers and/or retailers.

4.3.2. Products must be returned within 30 days of order date.

4.3.3. Please include a copy of your receipt (or a note with your order number, name, email address and phone number) and your reason for returning the product(s).

4.3.4. We cannot accept returns or issue refunds on used products.
4.3.5. Original shipping and handling charges are non-refundable (if applicable). 4.3.6. Products specified as non-returnable or not for resale cannot be returned.

6.1. Once we have received and inspected your returned order, an email to notify you that we have received your returned package will be sent to you. We will also inform you of the acceptance or rejection of your refund.

6.2. If your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied via EFT or where possible the original method of payment, within 7 business days.

6.3. If you have not received a refund yet, make sure to first double-check your bank account statements, then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund reflects in your account due to bank delays. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at

6.4. Only regular priced items may be refunded and thus, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

6.5. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at

6.6. The returns procedure must be initiated within 7 days of delivery (whether in the case of returns without cause, defective/damaged product(s) and/or incorrect products), failing which we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of the products and/or to refuse to exchange the products and/or to refuse to credit your account.page3image1712576page3image1713152

6.7. If you return products, but fail to return all of the accessories and/or parts that you received with the products, we reserve the right to refuse to accept the return of the products and/or to refuse to exchange the products and/or to refuse to credit your account.

7. Damaged Goods

7.1. Subject to s56 of the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008, (“the CPA”), if you have received a product from us and found that the container (either plastic or glass), is defective or leaking, or if the pump or nozzle mechanism is defective, please contact us at 031 581 2543 within ten (10) days of delivery and we will gladly collect the product at our own expense and provide you with a refund, replacement or store credit.

7.2. Should you develop any adverse reaction to any products ordered from us, please contact us at 031 5812543. An experienced employee, or director of Skinlabb will endeavour to resolve any adverse reactions.

8. Product information

8.1. We will not be held liable for any inaccuracies regarding product information that changes as a result of third-party suppliers

9. Refusal or Cancellation Transactions

9.1. Skinlabb reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to refuse or cancel any online transaction for any reason without any liability for any losses or damages arising out of or in connection with such refusal or cancellation.

9.2. Some situations that may result in an online transaction being rejected or cancelled include where problems are identified by our credit and fraud control department, where Skinlabb has reason to believe the online transaction is unauthorized, violates any law, rule or regulations or may otherwise subject Skinlabb or any of our affiliates to liability.

9.3. Skinlabb may also require additional verifications or information for any online transaction, and you agree to provide such verifications and information to Skinlabb upon request.
